Octopus’ Garden bracelet

Description

A silver plate chain bracelet featuring marble and mocha mint jasper stones with an antiqued silver-plated pewter clam, representing the den of an octopus (Octopus’ Garden necklace with bone-carved octopus is listed separately).

Many species of octopus live on the sea floor in dens, either naturally occurring rock crevices or constructed refuges, and often add to their den area with scavenged rocks or other objects. They’re also typically ambush predators that carry their prey back to the safety of their den where various remains of the prey animals tend to build up. The den along with the surrounding objects and remains is colloquially referred to as a garden.
