Do you ship anywhere in Canada and the US?

Yes!

Do you ship outside of Canada and the US?

Yes, I’m now offering global shipping through Canada Post International! Please note that I will not charge any customs or duty fees, so you may be responsible for any import fees applied by your country! See Terms and Conditions for details.

Are there any free shipping options?

Not at this time, out of an effort to keep the prices for each piece as low as possible.

How much does shipping cost?

Depends on where you are and what shipping options you want! Try the shipping calculator from your cart before checking out.

How long will it be until my order ships?

All orders will be processed in 1-3 business days unless otherwise notified.

How do I know the payment portal is secure?

Frozen Tundra Designs follows industry best practices for site security and payment integration with Square and Paypal. Both payment gateways feature end-to-end encryption and are fully PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant, with payment information processed directly on their own servers. Strong end-to-end SSL encryption is used throughout the site to ensure secure connection from Frozen Tundra Designs servers to your device. No credit card or bank payment details are collected or maintained by Frozen Tundra Designs. You can find more information on security measures and our payment processors in our Privacy Policy.

Do you accept PayPal?

Yes! I now accept PayPal as an alternative payment method to Square!

What happens to my information after a purchase?

Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for full details. Beyond this, your data will be handled in accordance with the associated user policies of Square and Woocommerce, or MailChimp in the case of email subscriptions.

What platforms are you using in your shop?

The Frozen Tundra Designs shop is run on Woocommerce integrated with Square.

What type of quality control do you perform?

Materials are carefully selected for each piece that I make. Once complete, every piece is strength-tested by hand, carefully checked over and “wear tested” (except for earrings) for several hours to find and eliminate any snags or scratchy edges. We have probably all experienced that great disappointment that comes from finding a piece that you love, only to realize a few hours in that it is virtually unwearable. Further to this, if anything goes wrong with a piece that you bring home at any time, I want to hear about it! If it breaks within one year of purchase, send it back for a free repair. What if I don’t like the piece I ordered?

I’ll be sad. But it happens! You can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange credit. Review our Terms and Conditions for more information on our return policy.

What is your return policy?

I offer a full, free refund for products returned (shipped back) within 30 days of delivery regardless of reason (I would say no questions asked, but the curiosity would figuratively kill me… so some, albeit optional, questions). Refunds can be issued via the payment method used at check out or as store credit as you prefer. Additionally, all pieces will come with a 1 year warranty against defects and will be repaired free of charge (you will need to ship the piece to me at your expense, but I will pay for return shipping). How accurate are the colours in the product images?

I can’t actually tell you that. What comes across on your end varies dramatically based on the tech you are using to view it. Photos are shot with 5600k daylight balanced, high Color Rendering Index (CRI) LEDs and are carefully balanced in processing. If the exact colour in the piece is critical (e.g. for coordination or matching purposes), you can contact me for more specifics.

How do I know the size or weight of a piece?

There are two sets of parameters listed for each piece. Embedded in the piece description are the measurements relating to the piece itself. In additional information, the “packaging” dimensions are listed (size and weight of the jewelry box with the piece inside), which are used to determine shipping costs.

Picking out jewelry online is hard.

That’s not really a question. But I sympathize! Comparing sizes and weights to some of your favorite jewelry pieces may help you make informed choices. That being said, I encourage you to take a chance and try something new! If a piece really speaks to you, sometimes you just need to go big or go home. If it doesn’t work for you, you can always return or exchange it. If you are not sure about necklace lengths, use the handy chart shown below as a reference point.

Can I buy something from the gallery?

All of the pieces that are available for purchase are currently listed in the shop. Sorry, any other pieces in the gallery are historical and present as representation of my work. All pieces that I produce are unique, so no exact duplicates will be made (and isn’t that part of the charm?). That being said, if you would really like something similar to a previous piece, you can contact me to make the request and I will see what I can do.
