A truly unique statement necklace. An asymmetrical design showcasing an Orthoceras fossil (an extinct nautiloid cephalopod that was common in the Ordivician period, around 450 million years ago) on a string of fossil agate stones with bracketing labradorite strands. The labradorite stones have gold and blue flash (iridescent shine). The metal components are antiqued silver plating over steel, brass, and copper. Ancient Shores earrings are listed separately.
69 g in weight
46 cm in inner length (18 inches)
56 cm in outer length (22 inches)
Wear note: I find the weight of this piece to be just the right amount for it to lay evenly against the skin and not slide much through the day. That being said, if you are very active (my own example: moving around heavy boxes) or wearing it over slick material, it will try to slide sideways on you.
